ABOUT ME

Naytune is a creative storyteller, dancer, educator, and Harlem-grown spirit who is passionate about youth empowerment, authentic self-expression, music, scriptwriting, community, and culture. Through dance, creativity, leadership, and purpose, Naytune strives to inspire others to embrace who she is and express herself authentically.

WHY I LOVE HARLEM

Naytune wasn’t born in Harlem, but Harlem helped raise her. From the age of 11, Harlem became an important part of Naytune’s story, and to this day, she remains active in the community that shaped so much of who she is.

Naytune has danced at basketball games everywhere from Kingdom to Rucker Park and grew up attending teen events that brought the community together, from Cherry Lounge to the YMCA.

What Naytune loves most about Harlem is its soul—the art, the history, and the culture that changed the world. Harlem carries a legacy that people from across the globe come to experience, celebrate, and learn about.

“And 125th Street? That’s Harlem’s Times Square. It’s the heartbeat—the energy, the fashion, and the style. In Harlem, even a regular day can feel like a runway. Style is part of the culture, and expression is part of the experience.”

Beyond the creativity and influence, what Naytune loves most is the community. Harlem has always understood the importance of pouring into its people, especially its youth. There are countless programs, mentors, creatives, and community leaders working to ensure the next generation has opportunities, support, and a true sense of belonging.

One of Naytune’s most unforgettable Harlem moments was performing at Harlem Shake®’s Halloween event, dancing to Thriller alongside her dance crew, The Original Harlem Shakers. It was an incredible experience and a memory that continues to represent Naytune’s connection to the community.

Harlem is resilience. Harlem is culture. Harlem is excellence. Naytune may not have been born there, but a part of her was absolutely raised there.
